Let me first introduce what it is ??
Microsoft hololens is the first holographic computer running window 10 . Its has no wire ,phones or connection to a PC is needed. It allows you to pin holograms in your physical environment and provides a new way to see your world.
HoloLens is essentially a holographic computer built into a headset that lets you see ,hear and interact within an environment such as a living room or an office space.Here a new term introduced that is holography - it is a photographic technology that records light scattered from an object , and then presents it in a way that appears in three dimension.Holographic object can be viewed from different angles and distance,just like physical objects, but they donot offer any physical resistance when touched or pushed because they don't have mass.
R u getting confuse with VR technology ??
Hololens technology is different from VR technology .In virtual reality (VR) the user is compelety immersed in a computer -generated world or virtual world.In VR the user are advised to stay seated or keep still to avoid collision with the physical object , they cannot see the real world.While using hololens you are more connected with the real world around you . we can say it is transforming the ways you create ,connect and explore.
HoloLens has a virtual unlimited set of future application .

1)Installing a dimmer switch with help from someone in a skype who could see what i was seeing and also markup what i was seeing .Help as to give demonstration.
2) playing augmented reality Mine-craft in a living room.
